Red Ribbon Week is a drug prevention awareness campaign that is observed annually each October throughout the United States.
At "The Heights" we want our students to understand the connection to being contributing members of their community and living a healthy and productive drug-free life. Classroom Guidance lessons will be focused on learning about the importance of keeping our bodies healthy and how performing acts of kindness for others gives our lives more meaning and purpose.
During the week we will be having fun with a few dress-up days, while also donating items to show kindness to others and to learn ways to be contributing members of our community.
Red Ribbon Week will take place October 25-29th.
