Day 7: Time to start getting back into a routine! Encourage your kids to start going to bed a little earlier each night to ease into the early mornings. Get those reading skills geared up by challenging your growing leaders to read for 5-10 minutes each night before bed. Create a simple checklist of daily tasks or chores to help with time management. These are a few simple ways to encourage effort and motivation. #firstday2023 #theheightsway

Don't forget to label the supplies to ensure they stay organized and easily identifiable.

All school bus riders must be registered to ride the buses before Monday, August 14. Registering your student before the August 14 deadline helps the transportation department plan efficient routes to get students to school and home in a timely manner. If your student is not registered before Monday, August 14, he or she will not be on the pick-up or drop-off schedule and will not be assigned a stop location or time. No new transportation requests will be accepted during the first two weeks of school. Bus registration will resume on Monday, September 4, and will take 48 hours to process. So please take a moment to register your child today at www.tasd7.net.

Good afternoon Heights Community! We are so excited about our 4th 9 Weeks PBIS SOARing Event. The student community voted overwhelmingly for a Trip to the Park! Lunch will be provided for each student by the TASD food truck! To qualify to attend, students must earn a combined total for the 4th 9 weeks beginning March 27 - May 17. (36 School Days). K-2nd Grade must earn 272 points, and 3rd-6th Grade must earn 400 points. Students will only earn points on days that they are at school and have the potential to earn extra points throughout the day based on SOARing behavior. As we enter the last 9 weeks of the year, attendance and behavior are essential, and we would love to see every student succeed as we SOAR at The Heights!
