Hello Heights Families, Today, your child is bringing home a Parent/Guardian Information Envelope, letting you know about a safe and easy way for our school to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed. The SchoolStore fundraiser is 100% online, so there is NO face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products. Your participation will take less than 12 minutes, and there are exciting prizes to make it fun for the students. Here is all you need to do to participate: 1. Our next Lunch & Learn Event will be happening on November 4. The form must be submitted by Wednesday, November 2 by 3:30 PM on the Wednesday prior to the event in order to allow for necessary planning and accommodations. Hello, Heights Community! We are so excited about our annual Harvest at The Heights happening tomorrow, 4:00-6:00 PM! Don't forget that $3 Entry passes may be purchased on the day of the event at the school between 7:30 AM -2:30 PM and during the event. (Exact change, please.) Harvest at The Heights Entry Passes may be purchased at the front office between 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM on October 25. Passes may be purchased during the event beginning at 4:00 PM. Keep track of your passes. There will be no replacements given if lost. There is so much fun to be had! #harvestattheheights

Reminders: -Pumpkins should be based on a book character. -Be sure to include the book to accompany your pumpkin creation. -Don't carve or pierce your entry. -Refrain from using spray paint; it will disintegrate and ruin the pumpkin. There will be a guest panel of judges from our TASD Administration and area community partners. "The Best in The Patch" will be announced during our Friday morning Assembly. PENNY WARS UPDATE: So far, The Heights has raised $1,006.30 for The Tough Kookie Foundation. The class in the lead is 2nd Grade with 18,905 points! Keep collecting that spare change! The collection of monies will end on October 28.

You need no special qualifications - just a genuine love of children and a desire to help. Your decision to volunteer WILL make a positive difference! Please fill out the V.I.P.S. Attention Heights Families, Each Tuesday, your child will bring home a folder containing his/her graded work along with flyers and notes from the school and the district. The folder will need to be reviewed, emptied and returned the following day. This is just one of the ways we keep you informed of your child’s progress and upcoming events. #TheHeightsWay
